One of the four main beaches in St Ives, Porthmeor Beach is a popular sandy beach, well known with surfers. Families with small children can enjoy safe swimming, as there is a full lifeguard service during the summer months. Dogs are not allowed on the beach.
Did you Know? Behind the beach is ‘The Tate St Ives'which oped in opened in 1993.
