Westward Ho! is a traditional seaside resort founded in the 1860's, with a sandy beach ideal for swimming in the rock pools and surfing. There are tourist attractions including an amusement arcade, golf putting green, tennis courts, playground for the kids, beach shops, and a choice of places to eat and drink. There are also great walks to take at nearby Kipling Tor (named after Rudyard Kipling).
