Polzeath Beach is a large sandy beach ever popular with holidaymakers. It is an old favourite with families, and there is excellent surfing, although it gets busy during the summer months. There are surf shops and clubs in abundance catering to beginners and pros alike.
Did you Know? Sir John Betjeman is buried in the nearby Church of St Enodoc.
Getting There: driving from the A39, take the B3314 at Wadebridge and follow the signs to Polzeath.
