Sheringham was a small Norfolk fishing village until the late 1800's with the arrival of railway, which brought visitors from around the country. The stone beach at Sheringham disappears at high tide, and when the tide goes out, reveals sand and rock pools to explore. It is an ideal destination for families as the are plenty of amenities, including amusement arcades, beach huts and a public shower!.
