Hunstanton Sands (also known as Sunny Hunny) a sandy beach, backed by its famous red and white striped cliffs, runs for a couple of miles along the coast towards Brancaster. The beach is perfect for kids to explore when the tide goes out revealing rock pools around the groynes.
This family friendly Norfolk coast resort has plenty of sea front entertainmnet on the pier, and the Hunstanton Fun Fair. Nature lovers can enjoy coastal tours on 'Wiley, the Wash Monster' amphibious ex military vehicle, or a visit to the Hunstanton Sea Life Sanctuary.
Hunstanton Sands has ideal wind conditions for watersports, making it popular for windsurfing, kite-surfing, water-skiing, and sailing.
Did you Know? You can also take a boat to Seal Island, a strip of sand in the middle of the Wash.
